information via this web site where it is absolutely necessary to do
so (generally in order to answer your enquiries). The extent of personal
information collected will be the absolute minimum required to successfully
provide the service our clients require. Any information of this nature
will be held in the strictest confidence and will be available to Helicon
Technology staff only. No personal information will ever be shared or
sold or otherwise given to a third party.
Site Cookies
Cookies are small text files held by the browser
in certain cases containing information pertaining to web sites the
web surfer has visited. The Helicon Technology web site uses cookie
technology in some situations. As an example, once a surfer has visited
the Introduction page a cookie is set that will allow subsequent visits
to the site to bypass the "intro" and go directly to the Home
page. The cookie has no other function whatsoever. Cookies are harmless
text files that are generally used to enhance the usability of a site

Helicon does collect general anonymous information concerning the number
of visitors to the site and general statistical information about those
visits. No personally identifiable information is collected. These statistics
are used purely to aid in further development of the site design and content
with an aim to make the site more pleasurable to visit and easier to navigate
and obtain information.
Third Parties
The Helicon Technology Site contains links to partner sites and other
third party web destinations. Helicon Technology has not investigated
the privacy policies of any of these sites and does not make any claims
about the appropriateness of said site policies (or lack of). Helicon
Technology, however, does take an active interest in ensuring that the
sites we link to conform with our ethics and ideals. Helicon Technology
cannot be held responsible for the opinions expressed or images contained
on any third party web site but should it come to our attention that a
site falls outside our standards the link shall be removed.
